Automatic Antenna Tuner for Icom IC-705

The mAT-705 is a compact and exquisite tuner designed for the ICOM IC-705 transmitter. It is connected to the TUNER socket of the IC-705 through a dedicated control cable, allowing the user to achieve simple and convenient tuning through the function menu of the transmitter. The tuner's aluminum metal shell, combined with the aluminum milling technology and laser engraving used on the panel, creates an exquisite, beautiful, and sturdy design that is well-suited for outdoor portable use.

The mAT-705 can operate within the frequency range of 1.8MHz to 54MHz, and it can be used to tune dipoles, verticals, Yagis, or virtually any coax-fed antenna. It offers an impressive range of antenna and impedance matching capabilities, far exceeding those of some other tuners.

The mAT-705 is equipped with 16,000 frequency memories. When tuning on or near a previously tuned frequency, the tuner uses "Memory Tune" to recall the previous tuning parameters in a fraction of a second. If no memorized settings are available, the tuner runs a full tuning cycle, storing the parameters for memory recall on subsequent tuning cycles on that frequency. This allows the mAT-705 to "learn" and adapt to the bands and frequencies as it is used.

The mAT-705Plus model features a built-in rechargeable battery and a USB charging port, enabling users to easily charge the tuner using a mobile phone charger. The new version of the tuner also eliminates the mechanical power switch, with the power supply being automatically controlled by the IC-705 transmitter. After connecting the control cable, the tuner's power is automatically synchronized with the transmitter, eliminating the need for manual control of the switch.

Furthermore, the mAT-705 tuner utilizes a larger LED lens that is mounted on a PCB, enhancing its visual appeal and functionality.

It's worth noting that we have improved the design of the mAT-705 by incorporating the battery inside the tuner, making it more convenient for users. Additionally, we will provide a BNC female to BNC female 50CM cable free of charge to connect the IC-705 transmitter to the mAT-705Plus tuner.
